Piramal Life Sciences Limited (PLSL) is an independent research-driven drug company that was recently demerged from Piramal Healthcare Limited (Formerly known as Nicholas Piramal India Limited). PLSL was formerly the NCE R&D division of NPIL. PLSL has state-of-the-art R&D laboratories built over 200,000 square-feet of space in Mumbai, India and over 300 scientists engaged in drug discovery and development.

Job Responsibilities:

* Under close supervision, the successful candidate will be expected to conduct day-to-day testing and profiling of compounds in cell based and biochemical assays.
* The candidate is expected to analyze, interpret, draw conclusions and test new methodologies.
* The candidate will be expected to have a good understanding and knowledge of laboratory tools, techniques, methods, and underlying principles.
* The candidate should know Tissue culture and Molecular Biology skills, which include cell culture (primary cultures and established cell lines), Biochemical enzyme assays, ELISA, SDS-PAGE and Western Blotting, microscopy techniques (immunofluorescence), Flow cytometry.

Additional Information:
Experience: 1-2 years a prior hand on experience in a cell biology lab is highly desired. Interest in science and research is a must
