The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) took birth as National Tissue Culture Facility in March 11, 1986 with a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune campus, Pune.
Applications are invited for the following Project post under MCC, purely on Temporary basis.

Qualification & Experience
Ph.D with minimum 20 years' experience in isolation, identification, maintenance and preservation of anaerobic microbes from diverse environments like animal waste, human gut, anaerobic treatment plants, biogas plants, aquatic sediments and oil wells as evidenced by publications in relevant international peer reviewed journals. The candidate should have familiarity of operation and responsibilities of culture collection and understanding of biochemistry and physiology of anaerobes.
Monthly Emoluments: Up to Rs. 40,000/-.
Tenure: Upto 31.03.2015 Extendable further depending on the extension of the project
