Vacancy for Research Scientist at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Regional Centre for Biotechnology, is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Title of Project : Assessing the efficacy of engineered extracellular vesicles targeting NLRP3 inflammasome in the neuroinflammatory disease model.
No. of Position : 01 (One)
Duration : Initially for upto 29.01.2025 (Project Duration) and can be extended on an annual basis upto 29.01.2027.
Age Limit : 35 Years
Essential Qualifications : First Class Post Graduate degree in Life Science, with at least two years of research experience in molecular biology from a research institute / university.
Desirable Qualifications : Working experience in performing animal experiments, or virus culture, FACS, Confocal imaging.
Principal Investigator : Dr. Arup Banerjee, Professor
Fellowship : Rs. 56,000/- + 18% HRA per month.
