Applications are invited for ONE position of PhD Scholar on project, “Additively Manufactured Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Cellular Lattices-Based Scaffolds for Neural Tissue Engineering Applications” under the supervision of Prof. Abhijeet Joshi and Prof. Nitin Kotkunde.

Title of the project : Additively Manufactured Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Cellular Lattices-Based Scaffolds for Neural Tissue Engineering Applications
Eligibility Criteria : M.Pharm. in Pharmacology, preferably with experience in neuroscience.
Desirable Qualification : • Experience with the animal handling and mammalian cell culture is a MUST.
• Experience with the live rodent surgeries and behavior tools is preferable.
Scope of work
• Design and fabrication of various TPMS-based porous scaffolds.
• Mechanical characterization TPMS- based structures.
• Assessment of scaffold biocompatibility using in-vitro cell culture and its efficacy in enhancing nerve regeneration in animal model of traumatic nerve injury.
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000 - Rs. 42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
Duration : As per BITS Pilani norms
