JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by Ministry of Education and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade (3.48 CGPA). JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (01)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow for a Research Project entitled “Development of a low-cost diagnostics kit based on miRNA detection for hepatocellular carcinoma”, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi under Adhoc (RFC No. (P-16) ITR/Adhoc/53/2022-23 Dt. 20/12/2022) under the supervision of Dr. Ram Mohan Ram Kumar, DBT- Ramalingaswami and Associate Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru for two years.

Desired Qualification : M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Pharm Biotechnology with first class and preferably GPAT qualified.
Desired skill : Experience in cell culture, basic molecular biology techniques
Project Tenure : 2 Years
Stipend / Fellowship : The selected candidate must join immediately and work for two years at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. The candidate will be paid the stipend of Rs.37,000.00+18% HRA per month for the two years as per the rules and regulations of ICMR. The selected candidate will be allowed to register for the Ph.D. programme of JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru per the institution's procedure.
