Tata Memorial Centre is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer ( ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital ( TMH). ACTREC conducts a Ph.D. program in Life Sciences, affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category A by MHRD, Govt of India). On-going research at ACTREC includes basic and translational research in Cancer Biology.
Post : Research Associate-I (01 post)
Consolidated Salary : @ Rs. 47,000 + 27% HRA = 59,690/- per month
Place of Work : Centre for Cancer Epidemiology, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.
Qualification & Experience:-
• 5 years research, teaching and design and development experience after M. VSc / M.Pharma / ME / M.Tech / M.Sc (Life science / Biotechnology).
• One research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCI) Journal is Desirable.
• The candidate must have experience using analytical techniques like ICP- MS/HPCL/LC-MS/GC-MS with a hands- on experience in handling Biological samples.
Project : Biomarker Phenotypes of Air pollution
Duration : The appointment will be initially for a period of six months or till the continuation of project, whichever is earlier
