The Directorate General of Health Services (Dte.GHS) is a repository of technical knowledge concerning Public Health, Medical Education and Health Care. It is an attached organisation of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The Dte.GHS is headed by Director General of Health Services (DGHS), an officer of Central Health Services, who renders technical advice on all medical and public health matters to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Directorate co-ordinates with the Health Directorates of all States/UTs for implementation of various National Health Programmes through its Regional Offices of Health and Family Welfare.
Post : Pharmacist
A written test/ Skill test followed by interview will be conducted for recruitment of one post of Pharmacist on contractual basis for Project entitled “National programme on Containment of Antimicrobial Resistance” sponsored by National Centre for Disease Control, through MoHFW, Government of India. Details of posts including number of vacancies, remuneration, age, requisite qualification, and experience in respect of these posts is as under - Department : Department of Microbiology, VMMC Building, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- consolidated (No other allowances are permissible)
No. of Vacancies : 01 (One)
Age limits : Upto 40 years
Educational Qualification : Essential Qualification : 10+2 with degree/diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution/Board
Desirable Qualification : Experience in dispensing and/or storage and dispensing of drugs in a reputed hospital or institution or in a drug store or a pharmaceutical concern.
Note : The duration of the post is approximately 1 year and extendable depending upon the extension of the project.

Only after notification by e-mail, eligible candidates should report in Room No. 503, 5th floor, Department of Microbiology, VMMC Building, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi - 110029 along with original, self-attested copies, two passport size photographs (one should be pasted on the application form) and complete application form duly filled as in Annexure-I.
Applications, which are incomplete in any manner, would be summarily rejected. Candidates must ensure that application is complete in all respects and they full fill all the eligibility criteria. No correspondence what so ever shall be entertained in this regard.
The hospital reserves the right not to fill up the posts, cancel the advertisement in whole or part without assigning any reason and its decision in this regard will be final. The appointee will not be granted any claim or right for regular appointment to this or any other post under Government services. Age will be reckoned from the date of issue of advertisement.
