The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

Essential Qualification : Diploma or Masters (1st Class) in Clinical Research.
Desirable : Preference will be given to experienced person.
Age limit : 30 years
Remuneration : Rs.20000/-pm fixed.
The engagement in the project is purely on temporary basis approximate for the period of I year. The appointment can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s notice OR stipend thereof. Please note that it is not a PGIMER appointment and will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
