Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate-I
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Project Associate-I in a time bound research project for a temporary period purely on contractual basis as per the following details.
Project Title : Design and synthesis of self-immolative molecular scaffolds to develop stimuli- responsive materials
Funding Agency : Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research (CSIR)
Principal Investigator : Dr. Partha Sarathi Addy, Department of Chemistry
Qualification : BS(4-year Program)/ B.Pharma /Integrated BS-MS./ M.Sc / B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent with minimum 55% marks and NET/NET-LS/GATE qualified.
Upper Age Limit : Age not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 year for SC/ST/PH/OBC/WOMEN candidates.
Fellowship : 31,000/- (initially first two years) and Rs 35,000 (afterward till the end of the project) per month
Project Tenure : 36 Months
Job Description : The candidate will carry out the organic synthesis and characterization of small molecules and polymers. The candidate will also be trained to carry out photophysical studies. He/she will also write research papers in indexed journals, conferences, and patents.
Registration for PhD.: Selected candidates will be given the opportunity for a full time PhD program at BITS, Pilani as per the institute norms.
