JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by Ministry of Education and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade (3.48 CGPA). JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (01)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (upgradable to senior research fellow in the third year after satisfying required criteria) to work under ICMR - Adhoc Research Project “Central Neuroprotective Evaluation of Heterocyclic Compounds as P2X7 Receptor Antagonists" [Ref No: 5/4- 5/3/9(Neuro)2022-NCD-l, dated 17.03.2023]. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm.(Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology) Candidates with GPAT, GATE, or NET qualifications are preferred Project
Duration : 3 years
Fellowship Amount : Rs. 31,000/- plus 9% H.R.A per month for 2 years and upgradable to SRF in 3rd year
