The Tata Medical Center is a multispecialty institution for tertiary cancer care based in New Town, Kolkata. At TMC, clinical and research activities are integrated to provide state-of-the-art care for patients with cancer. This integration is enabled by the Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC), the research arm of TMC.
Tata Medical Center, Kolkata (TMCK) and the Cell & Gene Therapy Division of Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., have come together in an Academic industry collaborative project (called Clarion) to bring cutting edge Cellular Therapies for cancer patients. The National Biopharma Mission and Department of Biotechnology has funded key aspects of the project to enable delivery of CAR-T Cell Therapy to patients with refractory and relapsed Hematological cancers.
Post : Manufacturing Research Associate / Assistant scientist
Qualification and Experience : PhD degree with required technical skills include cell culture (hands-on experience with culture of mammalian cells, both suspension and adherent, transfection, transduction) analytical methods like flow cytometry, ELISA, and qPCR.
Core Competencies
At least 2 years of work experience in the areas of cellular therapy development is desirable. A candidate with additional hands-on training experience on CliniMACS Prodigy/Cocoon platform will be given preference.
