The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : SRF under SERB Project
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (One) in Research Project entitled "To evaluate the role of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in functional regulation of host immune checkpoint molecules among HIV-TB co-infected individuals" funded by SERB, New Delhi. The post is purely temporary and coterminus with the project.
Qualification & Experience : M.Sc.(lmmunology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry) along with two year of research experience in Immunology. Molecular Biology including cell culture and flow cytometry.
Age : Below 32 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates)
Salary : Rs.35,000 fixed + HRA as per Gol rules and regulations
