Siddha Central Research Institute (SCRI) is identified as a potential centre of excellence for clinical research. This Institute is located in the campus of Anna Government Hospital of Indian systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy at Arumbakkam, Chennai. Central Research Institute for Siddha was established in the year 1971. It has all the facilities for preclinical and clinical studies. Pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, literary research, clinical research, Biochemistry, clinical pathology and pharmacy are the various departments functioning under Siddha Central Research Institute.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (Pharmacology)
Name of Project : “To evaluate the Safety and Cardioprotective effect of Swasa Kudori in rats”
Qualification : M.Pharm (Pharmacology) from a recognized University with 2 years of research experience. The candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying degree
Desirable : Experience with preclinical studies. A track record of high-quality research with high impact research papers. Knowledge of CYP-450 Inhibition, Induction assays and ELISA assay technique. Work experience certificate should be provided as proof of preclinical experience.
Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview (Age relaxation for SC/ST-5 years, for OBC- 3 years and PH- 10 years Candidates will be as per the government rules)
Fellowship : Rs.35,000/- +24 %HRA (Consolidated)
Period : 8 months or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Place of Posting : SCRI, Chennai
