National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs) have been created by an Act of Parliament and each institute is an autonomous body functioning under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. Having been declared as Institutes of National Importance, NIPERs have been contributing to the growth of the pharmaceutical industry.
NIPER-Hyderabad, was set up in 2007 in the erstwhile IDPL R&D centre with the support of CSIR-IICT as the mentor Institute. Ever since its inception, NIPER-Hyderabad has been functioning with an objective to create an environment congenial for synergizing academia, R&D, and industry, through training and research. Through consistent efforts, it has transformed itself to be a world class institute of teaching and research in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Management. The Institute has set up fruitful collaborations with various organizations nationally and internationally. Innovative areas of research are explored every year in emerging segments driven by the research expansion motive.
Post: Junior Research Fellow - 1 vacancy
Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow in peptide synthesis and conformational analysis by biophysical methods to work under the supervision of Dr. Rajesh Sonti for a period of around 1.7 years. The project is funded by DST-SERB-SRG (SRG/2021/002088, Gap no: 55).
Qualifications: The candidate should have a Masters degree (MS/ M.Pharm/ M.Tech/ M.Sc.) in pharmaceutical chemistry/ analysis/ synthetic chemistry/ medicinal chemistry.
Candidate must have qualified at least in one of the GPAT/ GATE / CSIR/ UGC/ ICMR entrance tests with age not more than 28 Years on the last date of the application.
Age relaxation will be provided as per SERB-DST, GoI norms.
Candidate having experience in NMR analysis, HPLC and organic synthesis will be preferred.
