Centre for Aromatic Plants was established by Government of Uttarakhand in 2003 at industrial area Selaqui, Dehradun. CAP is a complete business incubator centre for the development of the aromatic sector in Uttarakhand. It is equipped with end to end facilities and support services like survey, training, research, production of quality planting material, extension, distillation and marketing etc. The focus is to make these all facilities available to the farmers, entrepreneurs, researcher, buyers, distillers, perfumers and traders under one roof.
Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP), Selaqui, Dehradun invites applications for the following posts on project mode on a purely temporary basis in the project entitled “Efficient Functioning of Laboratories”.
INSTRUMENTATION LAB
Project Scientist-I - 01 Post
Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.) : 56,000/-+HRA
Essential Qualification : Doctoral Degree in Chemistry (Organic/ Analytical/ Industrial)/ Pharmaceutical Sciences having experience in management, maintenance and application of sophisticated instruments like GC-MS/ HPLC/ ICP-MS/ LC-MS
Senior Project Associate - 01 Post
Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.) : 42,000/- + HRA
Essential Qualification :
Essential : Doctoral Degree in Chemistry (Organic/ Analytical / Industrial) / Pharmaceutical Sciences
Desirable : Research / industrial experience in application of sophisticated instruments like GC-MS/ HPLC/ HPTLC/ ICP-MS and/or development and validation of analytical methods using the above instruments
OR
Essential : Master’s Degree in Chemistry (Organic/ Analytical / Industrial) / Pharma with 4 years research / industrial experience
Desirable : As above
PERFUMERY LAB
Project Scientist-I (Perfumery) - 01 Post
Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.) : 56,000/-+HRA
Essential Qualification : M.Tech in Perfumery and Flavour Technology with 2 years experience in Perfumery and fragrance creation
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT LAB/ PERFUMERY LAB
Project Associate-II (Perfumery/ Cosmetics) - 02 Posts
Monthly Emoluments (in Rs.) : 28000/-+HRA (Without NET/ GATE candidates OR 35000/-+ HRA (For NET/ GATE qualified candidates)
Essential Qualification : Masters Degree /M.Tech in Perfumery and Flavour Technology/ Cosmetic Technology OR M.Sc. (Chemistry)/ B.Tech (Perfumery/ Cosmetics) /Post Graduate Diploma in Perfumery & Cosmetics Management with 2 years experience in product development/ perfumery and fragrance creation
Terms & Conditions :-
1. Initially, the contract for a period of one year and may be extended further on the basis of the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
2. The candidates will have to bring the original certificates at the time of the interview.
3. The application has to be submitted only on the prescribed proforma. This advertisement along with the application format is available on CAP’s website : capuk.in. The application form may be downloaded from the website and used for applying for the above posts.
4. The candidates should send their application alongwith self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents related to academics and work experience etc. through Registered/ Speed Post/ Courier/ By Hand on or before the last date of submission of application. The late or delayed applications will not be considered.
5. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Project Scientist-I (Perfumery) / Project Associate-II (Perfumery) /Project Associate-II (Cosmetics)/ Project Scientist-I (Instrumentation Lab) / Senior Project Associate (Instrumentation Lab)/ (Advertisement No. 05/LAB/2022-23) as the case may be.
6. Incomplete applications in any manor (i.e. unsigned, without furnishing requisite particulars, without the required documents/ certificates without photograph, will not be entertained and is liable to be summarily rejected.
7. The candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications for each post.
8. The eligible candidates will be informed for the Interview separately.
9. No travelling allowance will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
10. The age limit for all above posts is between 21 years to 42 years as on date of submission of the application i.e. 27th July, 2022. The age relaxation for reserved candidates of Uttarakhand State will be provided as per Uttarakhand Govt. rules.
