Siddha Central Research Institute (SCRI) is identified as a potential centre of excellence for clinical research. This Institute is located in the campus of Anna Government Hospital of Indian systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy at Arumbakkam, Chennai. Central Research Institute for Siddha was established in the year 1971. It has all the facilities for preclinical and clinical studies. Pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, pharmacology, literary research, clinical research, Biochemistry, clinical pathology and pharmacy are the various departments functioning under Siddha Central Research Institute.

Name of Project : “Copper Nanomedicines”
Qualification : M.Sc., Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry from a recognized University / Institution.
Desirable : i) Candidates qualified in national level exams such as CSIR-JRF/NET, GATE will be preferred.
(ii) Research Experience in any reputed R&D institutions/industries with well versed in analytical techniques.
Age : Not exceeding 28 years, Relaxation will be given to SC/ST- 5 years, OBC- 3 years and Women- 5 years for candidates as per GOI Rules.
Fellowship : Rs.31,000/- +HRA as applicable
Period : 3 years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier, on contractual basis. (Engagement is initially for a period of one year and extendable based on the performance of the candidate).

6) The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under SCRI / CCRS or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
