Senior Associate Scientist-Assay Biology (Req Id 30821)
Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of multiple cell based and biochemical assays while maintaining highest quality and integrity of data and meeting established timelines.
Key Responsibilities :
• Provide assistance to research scientists in terms of planning and executing molecular and/or cellular laboratory experiments and interpreting results.
• Perform Cell based assays like Luminescence, fluorescence, FRET, radio assays, etc.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company

Candidate Profile
• M.Sc in Life sciences or related field.
• Skilled in mammalian cell culture. Experience in handling primary cells (PBMC, splenocytes, cardiomyocytes, etc.) is an added advantage
• Cell based assays: Advanced skills in one or more of the following assay techniques:
• • Plate based assays - Luminescence, fluorescence, FRET, radio assays
• • Second messenger assays - cAMP, Ca2+, IP3, phosphorylation
• • Immunoassays - ELISA, WB, Immunostaining
• • Flow cytometry, Hi-content imaging
• • qPCR assays
• • Transient transfections / reporter gene assays
• Excellent pipetting skills. Experience with automated liquid handling systems an added advantage
• Experience and good knowledge on assay QC parameters  
•  9 – 12 Years of relevant experience post qualification.
• Good oral, written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
