Post Doctoral Fellow position at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an academic institution established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu. In 2016, RCB was recognised as an Institution of National Importance by the Parliament of India.

Post Doctoral Fellow position

Title of Project : Role of ER and Mitochondria in Pigmentation.
Duration : Initially for six months and may be extended annually after performance evaluation till the end of project.
Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. (either successfully defended or thesis submitted) in Biotechnology / Life Sciences with experience in cell and molecular biology, microscopy and/or animal models.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in handling mammalian cell culture and skills in molecular biology are highly desirable.
Note : Preference would be given to candidates who have published first author publication/s in SCI indexed journal/s.

Principal Investigator : Dr. Rajender K. Motiani, Assistant Professor
Fellowship : Rs. 62,000/- (Consolidated) per month.
