Qualification :
M.Sc / M.Tech (in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal chemistry, Pharmaceutical chemistry), B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Experience : 1 year to 4 years in Biocatalysis / Biotransformation
Required skill sets :
• Experience in designing and setting up biocatalysis/biotransformation reactions in the R&D lab.
• Screening of wild type cultures and recombinant enzymes for specific substrates/reactions.
• Thorough understanding of various biocatalysis/biotransformation reactions and enzymes.
• Optimization and scale up of biocatalysis/biotransformation reactions.
Good documentation practices (technical report and protocol preparation)
