Regional Medical Research Centre, Port Blair is one of the six Regional Centres of Indian Council of Medical Research. The Centre was incepted in 1983 with the objectives of carrying out biomedical research on communicable and non-communicable diseases prevalent in Andaman and Nicobar Islands with a special emphasis on the health problems of the indigenous tribes and to develop technical manpower locally. However, during the past two five-year plans, the Centre recognized its identity and made rapid strides towards achieving its set objectives.

Qualification & Experience
Essential:
B.Sc in life Sciences from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution.
OR
Master’s degree in life sciences.

Desirable:
Working experience in Proteomics
Knowledge of Bio-Informatics/Data Analysis software.

Age: 30 years

A walk-in interview/written test is proposed to be held on 5/8/2019 at 10:00 am to fill up the following post of Research Assistant on consolidated salary under the ad-hoc project as detailed below. Candidates, who fulfil the requisite qualifications may appear for the walk-in interview/written test.

The candidate should bring duly filled in prescribed APPLICATION FORM available in the website of ICMR-REGIONAL MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTRE, Dollygunj, Port Blair together with self-attested copies of all the certificates relating to educational qualification, date of birth, working experiences etc., on the day of walk-in interview/written test.

Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates for verification. The registration process will start at 10:00 am. The exact time of interview/ written test will be intimated to the candidates on 5/8/2019, after completion of the registration process.
