Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for the following positions to work under the Hemex Health, USA funded project titled “Malaria Clinical Accuracy study of a novel point of care test” under the supervision of Dr. Kavitha Saravu at the Department of Medicine, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.

Research Assistant / JRF
Qualifications : Bachelors or Post-graduate degree holders in Microbiology, Virology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmacy. Malaria microscopy expertise will be of great value

Duration of Project : 03 Months

Remuneration : 21,500/- per month (including for travel to Udupi/ Manipal)

Work description : Patient recruitment, phlebotomy, performing RDT, microscopy (if expertise available), performing a point of care test.

Senior Research Fellow
Qualifications : Post-graduate degree holders in Microbiology, Virology, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmacy with experience in PCR and data collation and management.

Duration of Project : 04 Months

Remuneration : Rs 27,500/- per month

Work description : Performing PCR, Data Management, data analytics, Project management.
