The Health & Family Welfare Department of the State Government has been vested with the responsibility of maintaining and developing the health care system in West Bengal. Public health, sanitation and hospitals are the exclusive responsibilities of the State. State provides financial and managerial support for the basic health care support and infrastructural facilities at the rural level, while the State level super specialty Medical Colleges & Hospitals predominantly provides the ambulatory care services.

Post : Senior Research Fellow

The post is purely temporary and contractual in nature.

Project : “Estimation of the therapeutic efficacy of a novel Ayurvedic Vaginal tablet in treating excessive abnormal vaginal discharge during Phase II clinical trials” sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Council , Govt, of India.

Essential : Post graduate degree in Science discipline (Medical/ Ayurveda / Pharmacy/ Chemical /Life Sciences etc.) with two years Research experiences

Desirable : Research experiences in phytochemical analysis, handling of sophisticated instruments, experimental pharmacology, and clinical trial of herbal medicines, in vitro and in vivo studies of drug development especially herbal.

Remuneration : Rs- 36,400 (Rs- 28,000+30% HRA) per month consolidated

Age limit : 35 years as on 01.07. 2018
