The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body under the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The Council is an apex body in India for formulation, development and promotion of research in Ayurvedic system of medicine. The Council carries out its activities and functions through its network of 31 Institutions located all over India.

Senior Research Fellow (Non Medical) - 01 post
Name of the Project : Effect of Gokshuradi Guggulu on Experimental Diabetic Nephropathy: In vitro and In vivo Studies
Duration: 02 years
Essential Qualification, Experience : M. Pharm in Pharmacology OR M.Sc. (Life Sciences) with two years of research experience

Upper age limit: 35 years
Fellowship : Rs. 28, 000 per month plus HRA as per rule

Senior Research Fellow (Non Medical) - 01 post
Name of the Project : Biochemical and Pharmacological Evaluation of Kaishore Guggulu in Experimental Models of Gout (Vatarakta) 
Duration: 02 years
Essential Qualification, Experience : M. Pharm in Pharmacology OR M.Sc. (Life Sciences) with two years of research experience

Upper age limit: 35 years
Fellowship : Rs. 28, 000 per month plus HRA as per rule

General Conditions:
1. Age will be determined as on the date of interview. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules.
2. The engagement will be purely temporary on contract basis co-terminus with the project and initially for a period of one year which is extendable to next year subject to performance of the fellow.
3. No claim for continuation or regular appointment will be entertained.
4. Applicants should bring duly filled-in bio-data cum application form available on CCRAS website (ccras.nic.in) and their original certificates of educational qualification and experience certificates, proof of age, etc with a set of photocopies.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/lnterview.
6. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of animal experimentation in the relevant field.

Walk in interview 25th July 2018 at 11.00 a.m. in the Office of Assistant Director l/c, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Drug Development, Aamkho, Gwalior - 474 009 (M.P.).

Selection procedure will comprise of a written test followed by interview of the written test qualified candidates, on the same day.
