National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.

Research Assistant (Enrolment Lab)

Age : 30 years
Essential Qualification : Graduate in Life Sciences from a recognized university with three years work experience
Desirable Criteria : Master degree in Life Sciences Two years' work experience in clinical research
Job Responsibilities :
• Prepare lab set up required for blood & sputum sample processing and conduct tests as per SOPs
• Adhere to good clinical laboratory practices (GCLP) and observe the same during trial activities
• Maintain sample-log, onsite test result register, sample shipment log, result receipt log
• Ensure observation of aseptic and antiseptic procedures for sample collection
• Ensure waste disposal according to bio-safety guidelines
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 31,000/- p.m
Research Assistant (Role of Pharmacist)

Age : 30 years
Essential Qualification : B.Pharm (Pharmacy) from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recoginzed Institute
Desirable Criteria : M.Pharm (Pharmacy) from a recognized university with Two years' work experience in clinical trials
Job Responsibilities :
• To establish pharmacy set up for clinical trial
• Ensure temperature maintenance as required for storage, shipment, and dispensing including logistics related to cold chain
• Responsible for randomization of participant for trial
• Responsible to check the quality of the product received, ensure product storage condition and dispensation along with product log document
• To prepare product / placebo as per protocol
• To dispense primary care medicine dispensing in clinic
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 31,000/- p.m
