Assam Rifles recruitment rally will be held at LOKRA, ASSAM, NRS – GUWAHATI and DIPHU, ASSAM NRS-DIPHU from 26 Oct 2015 onwards for enrolment against 574 vacancies of Male for all trades except those earmarked for Female and Female candidates for the post earmarked for them i.e Naib Subedar Staff Nurse, Rifleman Female Attendant, Rifleman Aya/Rifleman Female Safai trades from States for the posts mentioned at Appendix A.

Qualification: (a) 10th pass from a recognised Board/equivalent.
(b) Diploma in Pharmacy of two years duration from a recognised University or Institute and having registration with State Pharmacy Council.
Age Limit (without relaxation): 18-23 years
Candidate seeking reservation benefits as Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the Notice. They should be in possession of the certificates in the format prescribed by Government of India in support of their claim at the time of reporting for Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test.
CANDIDATE BELONGING TO THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CATEGORY ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS EXAMINATION.
Only a single application will be entertained. Candidature in respect of multiple applications will be rejected outright without any notice to such candidates.

Qualitative Requirement and Age Criteria. The Qualitative Requirement (QR) for enrolment into aforesaid trades other than compassionate appointment is attached as Appendix B.
Cut off Date and Age Relaxation. 1st Aug 2015 will be the cut off date for all candidates for determining above mentioned age criteria. Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years to Other Backward Classes and 05 years to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes Candidates excluding age limit for compassionate appointment.
Pay Scale. Pay scale and other allowances will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.
Merit List and Call for Training. The candidates who qualify in all respects i.e Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination and Medical Examination Test will be placed in merit list depending upon the category wise vacancies allocated to states. Instruction to join the Training Centre for enrolment will be issued on the basis of Merit List. Please note that merely qualifying in all tests does not confirm that candidate will be appointed.

Rupees fifty only ( Rs 50/-) payable through SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No, 35015974955 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No – 13883. Fee paid by SBI Challan will be submitted alongwith the application. Fee paid by modes other than SBI challan will not be accepted and the application of such candidates will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited. Fee will be charged from the candidates belonging to General and OBC category. However, no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex- Servicemen, Female candidates and candidates applying under compassionate appointment:-
