Consolidated salary/Daily wages: 5200/- with G.P RS.2400/-P.M.
Essential Qualification: Candidate must have passed +2 science Examination under council of Higher secondary Education, Odisha/ equivalent and Diploma in Pharmacy from any of the 3(Three) Medical College & Hospitals of the State/any other recognized private institution duly approved by AICTE and examination conducted by the Odisha Pharmacy Board and she/he must have registered her/his name in Pharmacist Council in the State and have possessed valid registration certificates as on the date of the advertisement.
The vacancies advertised may vary due to additional creation/abolition of Contractual Posts of Pharmacist for Drug Distribution Centers under different Health institutions of this district.
General Conditions:
1. She/He must be a citizen of India
2. Age Limit: She/ He must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the date of such advertisement for the post. Upper age is relaxable to the extent of five years in case of SC/ST three years in case of SEBC and Provided further that the Pharmacists engaged on contractual basis under the central plan schemes, state plan schemes and externally aided schemes who are below the age 45 years and have completed at least one year of continuous service shall be allowed. In case of Physical handicapped/ Ex-serviceman the upper age relaxation is allowed as per State Govt norms.
3. Candidates having permanent Residence of Kalahandi district will be given preference .In case of non-availability of eligible candidates from the district, candidates from other districts will be considered.
4. The engagement is purely temporary and terminable at any moment without assigning any reason thereof.
5. Candidates appointed on contractual basis will not claim for district transfer.
6. The candidate must read/write and speak Odia, have passed middle school examination with odia as language subject or have matriculations or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non- language subject.
7. Physical Fitness: The candidate must be of good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to make him incapable of discharging her/his normal duties in the service.
8. Applications will be short listed by the Selection Board keeping in view of the marks secured in qualifying examinations.

Under Rule 7 of the Contractual Pharmacist shall be allowed one percent extra Marks of the total marks for each completed year of continuous service subject to a mximum of 15 percent which will be added to the marks secured by them for deciding the merit position. |
The applicant should send his/her application form and other documents by Registered Post/Speed Post only. Submission of application by hand or through agent will not be accepted. The application with required documents should reach to the Office of the Chief District Medical Officer, Kalahandi on or before 22-' J(V by Regd. Post/Speed post only. The application received after due date and incomplete application will not be entertained. "Application for the post of Pharmacist" under CDMO, Kalahandi" must be super scribed on the top of the envelope.
Documents to be submitted along with the application:
1. Self Attested: copies of Educational Qualification certificates and Marks sheet of qualifying examination.
2. Residential Certificate in Form-Ill from competent Revenue Officer (Tahasildar)
3. Valid Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/SEBC candidates.
4. Valid Employment Exchange Card.
5. Two Passport size photograph.
6. Copy of Registration certificate from Pharmacy Council, Odisha
7. In service Pharmacist must submit their service certificate from competent authority
One Self addressed envelope (24x10) with postage stamp of Rs. 25/- to be attached.
