Established in 1973, Kumaun University consists of three campuses at Almora, Nainital and Bhimtal; 3 5 affiliated government colleges; and almost equal number of affiliated self-financed private institutions spread across the Kumaun region. The total area covered by the university thus far is an impressive 160 acres. The beautifully designed colleges blend in perfectly with the surrounding architecture and complete the breath taking scenery. In order to cater the technical, professional and vocational education, another campus of the University is being developed at Bhimtal. Special emphasis is placed by Kumaun University to uphold the motto of excellent teaching and high quality research. Essential Qualification: Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree
Desirable Qualification: Experience of Teaching in a University or an Institute of repute
Consolidated Salary(p.m.): Rs. 25,000/- for experience of 2 years and above
Scientific Officer– Central Instrument Facility 01 position 01 (UR)
Essential Qualification: Bachelors and Masters Degree in Pharmacy with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree
Desirable Qualification: Experience of Teaching/ Handling instruments in a University or an Institute of repute
Consolidated Salary(p.m.): Rs. 15,000/- for experience below 2 years.
The application may reach the department latest by 26th July 2014 along with a demand draft worth Rs. 500/- drawn in favor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (M. Pharm Course) payable at Nainital.

• Interview will be held on Thursday, 31st July 2014 at 10 AM in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumaun University Campus, Bhimtal.
• No separate intimation will be given to the candidates for interview, in case of any change in the schedule or venue information would be send through the email and mobile no. provided by the candidate.
• In case of excess applications a screening test could be conducted.
• No TA/DA shall be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
• Contract period is for a period of 6 months initially and is governed by the policies of Kumaun University for self-financed programs.
• If suitable candidate against the reserved post is not available, then appointment shall be done form the general category.
• The total no. of vacancies may be increased or decreased depending upon the total no. of admissions in the M. Pharm program.
