To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish.
The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.
The University invites applications from Indian Nationals in the prescribed form for the following posts:
Post: Junior Pharmacist- One Post
Qualifications:
Essential: 1. The candidates should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy (Allopathic) from any institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) / AICTE
2. Persons holding Bachelor in Pharmacy (B-Pharma) degree from any PCI / AICTE approved Institution of India may also apply
Experience: At least two years experiences in dispensing drugs from any Government registered and enlisted hospitals / any recognized pharmacy in full time basis.
Age: 18-40 years (Valid document has to be submitted as proof of age)
Pay: Rs. 7200-25400+ GP Rs. 3,300/-
Deadline for receiving and submitting application is 11th July, 2014 (by post or in person).
The application form for Junior Pharmacist are obtainable from the Information Office of the University on all working days (Monday to Friday except Holidays) within 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on payment of Rs.25/-. Complete application form has to be submitted either by post to the ‘Registrar, Jadavpur University, Aurobindo Bhavan, 188, Raja S.C. Mallick Road, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700032’ or in person to the ‘Information office’ on all working days within 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. along with copies of all certificates / testimonials.
