The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003 to achieve the following mission, goal and objectives.
Project Associate-I – (02)
Title of the project : Exploring antimicrobial therapeutics against Multidrug Resistant enteric bacteria (MDR) causing sepsis from traditional Plants of North East India.
Funding Agency : DBT
Duration of the project : 02 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA
Qualification : M.Sc in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Organic chemistry, Medical microbiology, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology etc. Desirable: Having work experience of one year in the relevant field.
Project Associate-I – (02)
Title of the project : Exploration of native legumes and characterization of associated nitrogen fixing microsymbionts in NE India for development of biofertilizers.
Funding Agency : DBT
Duration of the project : 03 years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA
Qualification : M.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Biochemistry, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular biology, etc. Desirable: Having work experience of one year in the relevant field.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit for Project Associate will be 35 years (relax able for reserved categories as per GoI norms).
4. Eligible candidates may appear for walk-in interview with all original and self attested copies of certificate at 09:00 a.m. to 09:30 a.m. on 18th April, 2022.
