The National Institute of Immunology is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence to identify modalities for manipulation of the immune system to provide protection against diseases and understand mechanisms that can be used to target disease processes for intervention. Post : Junior Research Fellow (Project)
Name of the project & Duration of the Project : Nano-scale Artificial Antigen Presenting Cells to Reprogram the Tumor Angiogenesis funded by SERB ; Six Months
Educational Qualifications : M.Sc./ M.Tech degree in any area of Life Sciences / Chemical Sciences with good academic record. M.Sc. candidates should have qualified any National Level Eligibility Test such as (NET/GATE etc) for applying the above position. (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019)
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- plus 24% HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019).
Desired : The preference will be given to candidates who have hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: Cell biology (bacterial and cell culture), protein biochemistry, and chemical synthesis of nanoparticles.
Job description : The JRF will perform the experiments for synthesizing nanoparticles, bioconjugation and nanoparticle characterization, protein production, and evaluating the performance of nanoparticles using in-vitro/in-vivo T-cells activation assay and tumor angiogenesis
