Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research is an autonomous institution that was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI to commemorate the birth centenary year of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Bharat Ratna Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, was the founding President. The Centre was registered as a society with Dr. Raja Ramanna (eminent physicist and Former Chairman, DAE) as its first Chairman.

Junior Research Fellow
Remuneration : Rs.31,000 plus 24% HRA
Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with valid score in any one of the National Level examination
Experience working in Microhydrodynamics and an estabhshed publication record in this field
Max. Age limit : 28 years
Senior Research Fellow
Remuneration : Rs.35,000 plus 24% HRA
Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course with valid score in any one of the National Level examination with two years of research experience
Max. Age limit : 32 years
Research Associate
Remuneration : Rs.47,000/-, Rs.49.000/- and Rs.54,000/- plus 24% HRA). Remuneration will be fixed based on experience
Essential Qualification : Ph.D/ M D/MS/ M PS or equivalent degree OR three years of research, teaching, design and development after MVSc/ M.Pharm/ M.E/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal
Desirable Qualification : Ph.D with at least 1-2 years of Post-Doctoral Experience working in Microhydrodynamics and an estabhshed publication record in this field
Max. Age limit : 32 years
