Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 01 Post

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work under the research project entitled “Establishment of synthetic antibody engineering platform for rapid development of indigenous bispecific antibodies to debilitate zoonotic pathogens reducing their pandemic potential” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Govt. of Gujarat at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.

Eligibility
Minimum Qualifications : • M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Microbiology or relevant life sciences discipline) with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Minimum experience of two years as researcher
Desirable Qualifications :
• Candidates who have qualified the CSIR-UGC- NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc. National-level exams will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience/interest in synthetic immunology, molecular biology and microbiology are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with experience/interest in computational tools are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must have Excellent communication skills.

Age Limit : Up to 35 years on closing date of advertisement
Fellowship Duration : Initially for 1 year, extendable on annual basis for subsequent years (total 3 years or project’s tenure) subject to satisfactory progress, and financial provisions.

Fellowship : Rs.35,000/- + HRA per month (NET/GATE or national-level exam qualified candidates) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines. OR Rs. 27,300/- fixed per month (For candidates who have not qualified for the national-level-examinations such as NET/GATE) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.
