National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi and Bioversity International-India, New Delhi in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Association for Agricultural Research Insti-tutes Bangkok, are organizing the Eighth International Training Course on In Vitro and Cryopreservation Approaches for Conservation of Plant Genetic Resources’ from Nov. 5-19, 2019.

Essential qualification : The minimum qualifications are BS 4 years programme/ BPharm/ MBBS/ Integrated BS-MS/MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test. Or Post Graduate Degree (with 55% marks) in Basic/Allied Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Materia Science/ Environment Science/ Any discipline of Life Sciences) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Material Sciences etc.) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates with research experience in analytical techniques in Biochemistry/Material Science.
Upper age limit : 28 years (as per CSIR) The upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/women and physically handicapped candidates.

• Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview
• Candidates having essential qualification will only be considered for interview.
• No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate has no right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in ICAR/NBPGR
• The decision of Director of the institute will be final and binding in all aspects.
• The Director reserves the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be entertained.
• Candidates are required to send scanned pdf copy of all the relevant certificates/ mark sheets etc., with an application with full bio-data affixing a passport size photograph on the top. The originals will be verified at the time of joining.
• If any information of the candidate is found to be incorrect or concealing any facts, his/her candidature to the interview/ selection to the post is liable to be cancelled at any stage.
