Job for Research Associate at INST - Life Science, Biotehnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bio-medical engineering, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology

Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, Punjab, an autonomous institution of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, has been established under the umbrella of NANO MISSION, initiated by DST to boost research and development in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in India. INST started its activities on 3rd January 2013, the date on which its first Director was appointed.

Post : Research Associate-I (RA-I)

Highly motivated and bright candidates are invited for walk-in-Interview for engagement of Research Associate-I (RA-I) in the research project funded by Department of Bio-Technology (DBT).

Title of the Research Project : Integrated Magneto-Acousto-Dielectrophoresis based Microfluidics for the sorting of Bovine Spermatozoa
Principal Investigator : Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Scientist-D (Assistant Professor)

Essential Qualification:- The applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Science, Biotehnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bio-medical engineering, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and other related arrears. The applicants who have already submitted the Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. However, such, applicants, if selected, will be offered lower fellowship amount till they qualify the eligible degree.

Desirable Experience : Experience in aptamer synthesis and /or antigen-antibody reactions, bio- sensing.
Age limit : The upper age limit is 40 years for male candidates and 45 years in the case of female candidates as on the 21.01.2025. Fellowship for RA-I : Rs. 58,000/- + 18% HRA
Duration : Initially for one year and may be extended for another year based on performance of the candidate.
