Applications are invited for Project Associate-II at National Institute of Plant Genome Research

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one Project Associate-II in DBT project entitled Plan Genomics, Gene Regulatory Network and Novel RNA Molecules under Establishment of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Centre (BIC) in New Delhi of Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:

Post: Project Associate-II (one post)

Emoluments: 35000/- plus HRA per month as per norms and as sanctioned in the project.

Qualification: Candidates having Master’s Degree (with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Bioinformatics Natural Science or Agricultural Sciences and having two year of research experience and fulfilling the guidelines as per DST-OM number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020 are eligible to apply are eligible to apply. The upper age limit of the post is 35 years.

The above position is completely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The emolument for the above position is as sanctioned in the project. The appointment will be till the tenability of the project i.e. up to December 17, 2020, and the same can be curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The appointment may be terminated any time by giving one month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
