All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education. The Institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, research and patient-care. As provided in the Act, AIIMS conducts teaching programs in medical and para-medical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and awards its own degrees. Teaching and research are conducted in 42 disciplines.

Project Fellow/ Project Technical Officer/ (01 position)
Title of the Project : Cryo-Electron Microscope Imaging facility for biological specimens (Cells and Tissue)

Junior Research Fellow (02 Position)
Title of the Project : Effect of cisplatin-encapsulated HPV virion- based targeted delivery vehicle on cellular and cervicectomy samples using high-resolution Cryo-Electron Tomography
Funding Agency : SUPRA SERB
Essential Qualifications :
For PTO : Master’s degree (>60%) in Science with experience in cell and tissue culture, primary cell culture, histopathology, Protein purification and characterization/Electron Microscopy/related research.
Fellowship Amount : 32000 + HRA
For JRF : First class MSc in Biological Sciences with valid JRF/NET. Work experience in Electron Tomography /Electron Microscopy/Protein purification and characterization/Tissue and cell culture/confocal microscopy will be preferred.
Fellowship Amount: 37000 + HRA
Age : Maximum 30 years
