Anna University was established on 4th September, 1978 as a unitary type of University. This University was named after Late Dr.C.N.Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It offers higher education in Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Applied Sciences relevant to the current and projected needs of the society. Key Responsibilities : Conducting research activities in line with the objectives of the National Network Project mainly in the computational analysis of various DPI and PPI involved and in- vitro studies in diabesity, Collaborating with team members to achieve project milestones. Preparing reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research findings, In addition, they may be assigned any suitable task by the PI of the Project.
Essential Qualification : M.Tech / M.E in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Biopharmaceutical Technology OR M.Sc in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology / Biotechnology / Structural Biology from a recognized Institute / University. Desirable experience in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Computer Aided Drug Discovery research/Programming
Upper age limit (years) : 35
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) : (i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) A Selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions. (ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
