National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) Hajipur is an autonomous Institute of National Importance set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India by an act of parliament, to impart high quality Education & Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled “Development of Enzyme-mimicking Polymeric Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications”.
Essential Qualifications : The candidate must have M.Sc. (Chemistry /Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology or allied fields) / M.Pharm / MS (Pharm) or relevant degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent. Valid NET/GATE/GPAT or other equivalent National Eligibility Test score is necessary.
Desirable Experience : Candidates having experience of handling biomaterials, biopolymer modifications, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques etc. will be preferred.
Salary : The selected candidate will be paid a stipend of Rs. 31,000/- pm + 8 % HRA as per Central Govt. Rules.
Duration : Initial appointment will be for 1 year, which is extendable up to 2 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Age limit : 28 years on the date of application, with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. norms.
