The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.

Essential Qualifications
For JRF : Candidate should have M.Sc./ M. Tech in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Chemical Sciences / with 60% of marks or equivalent to CGPA grade. Candidate having CSIR / ICMR / UGC / NET other equivalent certificate are only eligible to apply for the position.
Age : Maximum 28 years. Age relaxation as per CSIR norms
Desirable Qualification : Experience in Molecular Biology techniques
Fellowship Amount : As per CSIR rules. Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 31,000 + 7440 (24% HRA)=38440/-(For MSc + NET /JRF)
