Post : Research Chemist, Research Associate

Research Chemist / Sr. Research Chemist (Process Chemistry R&D)
Experience : 0-5 Years
Qualification : M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
Responsibilities and Duties
• Ensure safety at work place
• Perform the experimentation under the supervision of seniors.
• Collect literature for relevant steps.
• Ensure that laboratory note book (LNB) entries and sample submission are carried out in accordance with the Institute SOPs
• Update the lab chemical list and chemical arrangements periodically.
• Calibration of laboratory instruments such as pH meter, weighing balance etc.

Research Associate (R&D Synthesis)
Experience : 5-8 Years
Qualification : M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry)
Responsibilities and Duties
• Ensure safety at work place
• Conducting the day to day experimentations
• Interpretation of NMR spectra and HPLC chromatograms
• Ensure consistency and repeatability of process to get acceptable yield and quality
• Preparation of project presentation for internal chemistry meeting and maintain research records


Research Associate (R&D Synthesis)
Experience : 10-15 Years
Qualification : Ph.D
Responsibilities and Duties
• Apply scientific knowledge to projects while following SOPs and other internal regulations.
• Analyse observations and data, evaluate results, form conclusions, and provide/implement process or document improvement.
• Independently design and execute a series of experiments to test hypotheses related to project outcomes.
• Conceive/design/plan/coordinate studies required to arrive at an unambiguous or scientifically acceptable conclusion.
• Optimize reaction conditions and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain complete and comprehensive records of experimental results.
• Write experimental summaries and project reports. Assist with revisions to SOPs, laboratory records and other documentation as assigned.
• Present technical findings/conclusions and project status updates.
• Actively participate in routine maintenance and lab safety.
• Prioritize studies and activities to align with project goals and be responsible for timely project completion.
• Assist in the training/coaching of new scientists. Provide technical and scientific leadership to other team members.
• Maintain a high level of professional expertise by staying current with scientific literature.
• Troubleshoot chemical methods and day to day operations and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
