Dubai R&D centre, Himalaya is looking for a Scientist -Skin Care Ingredients & Product Efficacy pertaining to Personal Care, Baby Care, Mother Care, Organic and Functional Foods range of products for the global market.
Skills :
• Should have a research experience combining scientific rigor and technical expertise while being open to innovation in the domain of compounds evaluation
• Strong can-do attitude sense of urgency, risk taking approach and influencing skills
• Must have an experience in efficacy evaluation of active ingredients using in vitro or clinical methods preferably in the skin care domain
• Good and recent knowledge in skin biology and physiology as well as major stages of skin development and major skin conditions will be appreciated
• Should have familiar with external collaborative project or external sub-contracted studies
• Has a synthetic mind and the potential to report the essential findings in a study
• Good oral communication skills
• Good pluri-discipline team player
• Fluent in English
Responsibilities :
Efficacy studies
• Under the responsibility of the Manager of Skin care product efficacy and Claims, you will design and plan the efficacy studies of new ingredients and finished products in collaboration with the in vitro efficacy, claim substantiation, consumer evaluation/clinical teams
• You will sub-contract internally or externally the studies and ensure their good performance.
• You will review the quality of the results, analyse them and prepare internal reporting.
Maintenance of technical excellence
• You will survey the new technical trends for in vitro and in vivo efficacy evaluation in the skin care domain through literature survey, seminars and congresses and
• You will propose new protocols and eventually develop them with internal teams or in collaboration with external partners (Universities, CRO, suppliers…)
• You will participate in the validation of the high scientific standards of external partners
Communication and claims
As a technical expert,
• You will support the preparation of internal and external communication support (presentation, poster, oral communication..)
• You will prepare the efficacy reports needed for the regulatory support of the finished product (Technical file or product registration.
