Opportunity for M.Pharm to work in Govt of India Sponsored project, NIPER

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance with proclaimed objectives of becoming Centre of Excellence for advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Mohali was the first institute established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the Govt. of India. Later, the DOP established 6 new NIPERs across the country including NIPER-Hyderabad which started functioning from 19th October 2007, from the premises of erstwhile R&D Centre of IDPL, Balanagar, Hyderabad.

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in CCRUM, AYUSH, Govt of India Sponsored project with title “Preclinical evaluation of UNIM-401 and UNIM-403 against experimentally induced psoriasis and UNIM-004 and UNIM-005 for their efficacy against experimentally induced vitiligo in mice” to work under the supervision of Dr. Chandraiah Godugu for a period of 3 years.

Qualifications : The candidate should have a Master’s degree M.Pharm/ MS (Pharm) in Pharmacology and Toxicology/Regulatory Toxicology with CSIR-NET/GPAT/GATE qualification with age not more than 28 Years on the last date of the application. Age relaxation will be provided as per GoI norms. Candidate having experience in with Cell culture, animal models experience and Molecular Biology will be preferred.


Fellowship : Rs 25000 + HRA per month.

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of the sponsored project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the fellow, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored.
