Life Sciences recruitment at at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

The ICGEB is an international, nonprofit research organization. Established as a special project of UNIDO, it became fully autonomous in 1994 and now counts over 60 Member States. The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology provides a scientific and educational environment of the highest standard and conducts innovative research in life sciences for the benefit of developing countries.

Project positions are available to work in a research project at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The positions are temporary under the research project is funded by Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India)

Research Associate
Educational Qualification of Applicants : Ph.D in Life Sciences with research publications in reputed indexed Journal
Desirable : Research experience in the field of cell biology, infectious disease, molecular biology, parasite culture, mammalian cell culture etc.

Emoluments : As per DBT guidelines

Senior Research Fellow : To carry out molecular and proteomics studies of clinical samples
Educational Qualification of Applicants : Master’s degree in life sciences, with 2 years research experience in microbiology or infectious diseases; desired candidate will have experience in handling clinical sample, MTB culture and molecular methods, experience in molecular biology techniques, proteomics or related studies. NET/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
