Retired Armed Forces personnel till 2002 could avail medical facilities only for specific high cost surgery/treatment for a limited number of diseases covered under the Army Group Insurance(Medical Branch Scheme) (AGI(MBS)) and Armed Forces Group Insurance Scheme(Management Information System) (AFGIS (MIS)) schemes. These medicare schemes could provide some relief to the ESM, but it was not a comprehensive scheme as compared to and available for other Central Government Employees.
ECHS, Station Cell Ambala Cantt, invites applications to engage following staff on contractual basis for its polyclinics for a period of 11/12 months for civilians/ESM respectively, renewable for additional period max of 11/12 months based on satisfactory performance in the first year.

Basic Qualification :
B.Pharmacy from recognized Institute OR approved Diploma in Pharmacy from Recongnized by the Pharmacy Council of India and Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948
Work Exp : Minimum 3 Year experience
Salary : Rs 28,100/-
Note
(i) Civil candidates can not apply in Vacs Reserved for Ex-Servicemen only,
(ii) Duration for contractual employment in respect of ESM vacancies will be 12 months Application from civil candidates against ESM Vacs will be accepted on provisional basis. Civilian candidates will only be considered for employment if no ESM has applied/disqualified/found unfit for the post Duration of contractual period for the civilians candidate selected against ESM vacancy will be 11 months.
