Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.
Post : Project Research Associate-I (One Post)
Title of Project : ''Functional characterization of skeletal muscle myosin heavy chain-embryonic in adult muscle regeneration and disease''.
Duration : Initially for one year, extendable for upto 3 years.
Age Limit : 40 Years
Essential Qualifications : PhD in Life Sciences or associated field with at least one first author publication in a peer-reviewed international journal. Previous research experience and practical knowledge of working with laboratory rodent models is required. Knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques including PCR is required.
Desirable Qualifications : Candidates with experience in cell biology and microscopy, good oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently are preferred.
Principal Investigator : Dr. Sam J. Mathew, Associate Professor
Fellowship : Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA per month.
