Applications are invited for the post of SRF, JRF at Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences

The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) has been established by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute, under the Societies act. The mission of ILBS is to become a dedicated international centre of excellence for the diagnosis, management and advanced training and research in the field of liver and biliary diseases. The first phase of ILBS is already functional having 180 hospital beds, 74 of which cater as intensive care (ICU) beds.

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Lab Technician (LT) in the following CCRAS funded project in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicine, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Vasant Kunj , New Delhi-110070, India.

Project Title: “Study the physiological basis and gut bacterial modulations induced by Virechana (Purgation therapy) in healthy adults: A prospective longitudinal study”

Senior Research Fellow (one)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 35000/- + HRA
Eligibility : 1st class M.Sc in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology of other fields of Life Sciences, from a recognized university with minimum 2 years of research experience should apply.
Desirable qualification: Candidate with NET/GATE or any other equivalent National Level Examination will carry additional credit
Age limit : 35 years

Junior Research Fellow (one)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 31000/- + HRA
Eligibility : 1st class M.Sc in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university should apply. Desirable qualification: Candidate with NET/GATE or any other equivalent National Level Examination will carry additional credit
Age limit : 35 years

Lab Technician (one)
Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 18000/-consolidated
Eligibility : 1st class B.Sc (preferably in life sciences / biochemistry / microbiology) and /or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques (DMLT) from a recognized university with minimum 2 years of experience of working in a laboratory should apply. Desirable qualification: Experience with working on stool samples for microbial analysis
Age limit : Below 30 years, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates as per government of India rules

Duration : 3 year (initial appointment will be only for 1 year which will be extended based on performance)
