The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is an autonomous Grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. The TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). The TMC conducts Ph.D. program in Life Sciences and Health Sciences and is affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University). On-going research at TMC includes basic, Epidemiological and translational work in Cancer.

To work on project entitled "Multi-Omics analysis to decipher mechanisms of hormone resistance in breast cancer"
Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D in Life Sciences or in Computational Biology. A candidate with Ph.D in Life Sciences should have an experience of 2 years post Ph.D with good publication track record as evident by at least one publication as a first author in an international peer reviewed journal with IF above 5. Or, the candidate with Ph.D in Computational Biology should have a strong research experience in Cancer Genomics (NGS data analysis) with at least one publication as a first author in an international peer reviewed journal with IF above 5, having proficiency in coding using Perl, Python, Java or C++, and familiarity with working in Unix environment, devising computation algorithms for data analysis in R and database programming using MySQL.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 58,280/- p.m. (Rs. 47,000/- + 24%HRA) per month.
Duration : Six months The work progress of candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.
