Troy University’s tradition of teaching excellence dates to its founding on February 26, 1887, when an act of the Alabama Legislature established Troy State Normal School as an institution to train teachers for Alabama’s schools. Joseph Macon Dill was the institution’s first president. In 1893, the school was renamed Troy State Normal College.

Job Summary
The Adjunct Instructor position in MSN Program is responsible for course instruction, evaluation, and continued refinement and update of NSG 6649: Advanced Pharmacology. Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as needed basis. Contracts are issues on a semester/term basis. Adjunct faculty hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught. Adjunct instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Doctorate in Pharmacy with active clinical practice in the area
2. Current licensure as a registered pharmacist
Preferred Qualifications
1. Prior teaching experience in an online environment
