Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.

Post : Project Assistant

Title of the project : Understanding the plant cell wall biosynthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana

Duration : Up to 1 year and can be extended depending on performance

Essential qualifications : MSc / MTech. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology

Desired qualifications : Practical knowledge of molecular biology techniques (DNA, RNA and plasmid isolation, PCR and molecular cloning) are necessary. Candidate who has experience of working on plant system will be preferred. Candidate should be hardworking and team player with interpersonal skills.

Emoluments : 25000 /- INR consolidated

Age limit : Below 28 years
