All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

Applications are Invited for the post of Research Associate-I in the ICMR funded

Project Title : Structure based In Silico Identification, Chemical Synthesis and Biological Evaluation for inhibitors against DNA Gyrase from Salmonella Typhi

Duration of project : Approx 2 yrs

Emoluments : As per ICMR guidelines

Place of work : Department of Biophysics, AIIMS, New Delhi. The person have to go to other institutes in the NCR region or outside Delhi if required.

Eligibility criteria : Ph.D. in a field related Biophysics / Bioinformatics M.Sc. in Biophysics / Biochemistry Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics

Note :
1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for attending the interview.
2. Essential: (a) Candidates must possess extensive experience in bioinformatics tools for molecular docking, virtual screening and molecular simulation programs like NAMD, GROMACS. (b) Candidates with experience in cloning, expression and purification will be given preference if they fulfill criterion (a)
